The Library, a speakeasy in Cusco, was born from a true story. Micaela Vizcarra, an important matriarch from almost two centuries ago, acquired a mansion in the Plaza de Armas, where she lived for several years, encouraging parties and important events that marked the life of the neighborhood. She had a library in the back of the house, where she kept her books and the countless telegrams she wrote to her son, so the new owners not only decided to name the restaurant that is located on the same property after her, but they also maintained Micaela's legacy with their library.
